Japan – Zimbabwe training match pics

Some lovely pictures from Japan’s latest training match, rather than full international, with Zimbabwe.

But as hp pointed out on another post, the match itself proved how toothless Japan are infront of goal, ending in a 0-0 draw despite Japan outplaying Zimbabwe.

Japan created lots of chances, whereas Zimbabwe managed just one shot all match apparently.

According to the report I saw, Makoto Hasebe played without any signs of his back injury from a couple of days ago.

So…

Does this mean the practice of attacking moves is going ok, after all they created lots? Is it that they are all useless when faced with the goal? Or is it a sign that Japan are going to be out of their depth?

That's the only thing that's put a smile on Okada's face recently!!

I dont get it. Japan couln't score A GOAL in THREE HALVES (for total of 90 MINUTES) against a lowly team that was playing soft (like in a practice)? Is this result a confidence buildier or will it do more damage to the mental status of the players? I just cannot see what Okada benefited out of this than to see that Honda is also useless upfront , and this was Zimbabwe! With all the superstars of Honda, Nakamura, Matsui, Hasebe, Morimoto, Tamada, Tulio, Enda, Inamoto, all this means that Okada's men are going to be what?… unbelievably outplayed and humilated?? or it means they are on their way to the best 4 as planned by Okata..??? The press is having a field day with this, just 3 days before the opener with the much much tougher Cameroon… like i said, and the media and experts agree, Okada is going out of his mind and he is taking the whole team with him…!!

Maybe God is punishing me for not going to church. FML, I really want Japan to do well, but seeing their form…it's just hard to believe in them to do so.
