Zico urges his players to be more deadly in front of goal
Coach Zico saw a lot of positives from the 2-2 draw against host nation Germany but feels there is still a lot to do from his team before the World Cup starts.
Firstly, he wants his players to be more clinical in front of goal because he felt they should have scored more goals against the Germans. And also he wants his defenders to stop committing too many fouls.
All in all, he was please with their performance.
Next up Malta on June 4.

The Germans were very violent, in my opinion. They score with those high balls because they tackle the defenders before the conclusion. Ballack loves to use his elbow! Argh!

Wow, what a great game Japan played against Germany! Here in Brazil EVERYONE got worried about the draw-almost-a-win against the mighty Germany.
Here in Brazil everyone hopes to play against Japan with both already classified, otherwise things could really heat up!

Yeah Japan did play a very tight game which I thought was a great improvement compared to that of their previous coach.
I felt the Greman’s were found to be slow and lacking pace. Yes they did play physically which is to be expected against the smaller Japanese guys. At lease Japan dont dive every 5 min like they used to.
