Nakata bemoans missing heart
Things are not looking up in the Japan squad.
A week to the World cup and you get your team’s star player moaning to the press about the team. This surely isn’t good news for team morale.
Hidetoshi Nakata once again complained about the team after the 1-0 win against Malta.
He said of the game against Malta, “We got nothing from the game, it doesn’t matter what sort of football you play – unless you run and work for each other it’s pointless.
Those are basic things. We’re hardly at the stage where we can suddenly change things. What we’re missing is the heart.”
I admire Nakata’s honesty but you do not go rambling to the press a week before the World Cup. If you have problems with the team, then you take it up with the manager not the press.
