Japan strikers Takahara and Yanagisawa both doubtful against Malta
June 3rd, 2006 | By: ShiLou | No Comments »
Japan first choice strikers Naohiro Takahara and Atsushi Yanagisawa are both doubtful for the friendly against Malta on Sunday.
Both players are carrying minor injuries so coach Zico might pair Masashi Oguro and Keiji Tamada instead.
At this stage of the World Cup preparation, you can’t take chances with players carrying minor injuries so I am happy to see both Masashi Oguro and Keiji Tamada start tomorrow.
