Japan striker Yanagisawa hopes to make World cup squad by joining old team

Japan striker Atsushi Yanagisawa hopes to impress at his old club Kashima Antlers and make the Japanese squad for this summer’s World Cup finals in Germany.
Yanagisawa has returned to the four-time J. League champions on loan until the end of June from Italian Serie A side Messina, has only one goal in mind and that is to make the World Cup.
The 28-year-old has not scored a single league goal for Messina since joining the Italian club in the summer of 2004.
I hope it isn’t too late for Atsushi but if he bangs in some goals for his old club he might just make the plane to Germany.
