Japan striker Yanagisawa fit and raring to go
May 22nd, 2006 | By: ShiLou | No Comments »
Japan striker Atsushi Yanagisawa has declared himself fit and raring to go after a metartasal foot injury according to media reports.
This is good news for the Japan squad who will be looking to boost their strike force just in time for the World Cup. Yanagisawa is one of the more experienced forwards in the team so his experience will be vital to new recruits such as Seiichiro Maki.
Japan forward line has also been accused of being goal shy so a fit Atsushi Yanagisawa should be a welcome boost to the whole squad.
