Japan striker Kubo hit with fresh injury

Yokohama and Japanese striker Tatsuhiko Kubo has suffered a new injury that could threaten Japan’s World Cup preparations.
The 29-year-old who recently came back from a long term injury layoff broke down with chronic back pain during training this week.
Kubo had scored three goals in his last three internationals after being recalled by Japan coach Zico in January.
The Brazilian will be anxious to have Kubo fit in the run-up to this year’s World Cup in Germany with his other strikers struggling for form.
