Japan scheduled to play six matches before the World Cup
In addition to the game against Bosnia on February 28th, the Japanese team have 5 other scheduled warm up matches leading to the World Cup. The National Team gathers at the end of this month in Miyazaki and on February 10th, the squad enters the pitch in San Diego to meet the United States. They play another friendly eight days later, against Finland, in Shizuoka.
On February 22nd, Japan starts its Asian Cup Qualifiers campaign against India. Coach Zico may have his European-based squad members available for this game
All in all; Japan shall play a total of six matches before the World Cup, including a friendly against Germany, on May 30th and another yet to be confirmed by Japanese Football Association.
