Coach Zico in and out of hospital after stomach pains

Coach Zico went into hospital on Sunday after complaining about stomach pains and fatigue right after his team’s 1-0 friendly win over Ecuador on Friday.

The story is he met a doctor in Tokyo and watched a J-League game between FC Tokyo and the Yokohama Marinos on Saturday but was hospitalized on Sunday because the pain did not go away.

The 53-year-old Brazilian legend was discharged after doctors monitored him overnight for acute gastroenteritis, a condition which it said was not serious.
