Beautiful game is fifth best loved sport in Japan
March 3rd, 2006 | By: ShiLou | No Comments »
According to Japan’s Daily Yomiuri, football (soccer) is the fifth best loved sports after the likes of baseball, marathons, ekiden or road relay races. However, 62% of the respondents were interested in the World Cup Finals that will be starting in June. However, I believe this statistics is only true for Japanese people over 30’s. Most of the younger generation still love the beautiful game first.
