Atsushi Yanagisawa raring to go after foot surgery
Japan forward Atsushi Yanagisawa who was released from hospital on Wednesday after surgery hopes to fit in time to play in June’s World Cup finals.
Yanagisawa broke a bone in his right foot last month and underwent surgery on March 26.
Yanagisawa feels pretty good after his surgery and hopes to achieve is main ambition of playing in the World Cup
He returned to J-League side Kashima Antlers on loan from Italian team Messina in order to boost his World Cup hopes but unfortunately suffered the injury setback.
Japan coach Zico often speaks highly of the veteran , who played for Japan in the 2002 World Cup.
