Japan the Asian champions showed signs of weakness in defence when they played Bosnia-Herzegovina in their 2-2 draw yesterday.

Japan scored in the last minute to secure a 2-2 for Japan against Bosnia-Herzegovina in a World Cup warm-up match in Dortmund Germany.

Japan continued their build up to the World Cup with a 2-0 convincing win over Finland in Shizuoka.

Japan national team striker Takayuki Suzuki is set to leave Kashima Antlers to join Red Star Belgrade in the Serbia and Montenegro league. The 29-year-old was a key performer for Japan during its 2002 World Cup run and should benefit from playing in Belgrade.
